Membership Terms & Conditions

Membership

Membership is not transferable to another person, business or company. All applications for membership must be made through the Canberra Women in Business website at www.cwb.org.au.

Members are charged an annual membership fee as outlined on the CWB website. Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for change-of-mind purchases.

CWB may review and update membership fees from time to time to reflect increases in operating costs, enhancements to member benefits, or other business requirements. Where membership fees are to increase, CWB will provide members with reasonable prior notice by email before the new fee takes effect. Members who do not wish to continue their membership at the revised fee may cancel their membership before the renewal date and before the price increase takes effect.

Membership may be cancelled at any time by logging into the member’s online profile and selecting the cancellation option, or by contacting CWB in writing before the expiry of the current 12-month membership period.

Membership Auto-Renewal

Membership will automatically renew at the end of each 12-month membership period unless the member opts out before the renewal date.

Payment will be charged to the same payment method previously provided, unless the member updates their payment details or advises CWB otherwise.

Members will receive two email reminders before their membership renews:

  • 30 days before the renewal date; and
  • 4 days before the renewal date.

These reminders will be sent to the email address provided by the member.

If a member does not opt out before the renewal date, the membership will renew and the applicable annual membership fee will be charged. Where a membership fee increase has been notified in advance, the renewed membership will be charged at the new published rate.

CWB is not responsible for change-of-mind cancellations after renewal and is unable to issue a refund in those circumstances.

CWB may consider refund requests in special circumstances on a case-by-case basis. Requests must be made in writing and will be reviewed and formally responded to by CWB.

Requests may be sent to:
