About the event
This year for International Women's Day, the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Canberra Business Chamber will be co-hosting a morning tea event to celebrate the achievements of women in business.
The event will feature a panel discussion with special guests, networking opportunities and a delicious morning tea set against the picturesque backdrop of Leyla Bar. The panel discussion will explore “Accelerating Women in Business” with panellists sharing their views on how we can better equip and support women in business and the workplace.
The panel discussion will be led by facilitator Genevieve Jacobs, Group Editor of Region Media, and spotlights local business leaders, including:
- Olivia Thornton, CEO of ACT Cricket
- Sharelle Mathias-Carman, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of TriComm Consulting, and committee member of Canberra Women in Business
- Debbie Saunders, Founder and CEO of Wildlife Drones
- Heidi Prowse OAM, ACT Telstra Business Woman of the Year (2020)
Registration for the event will open at 8:30am for a 9:00am start.
