Rapid Context is a research consulting firm built on the premise that academic rigour and rapid delivery can enjoy each others company. We are passionate about robust and defensible research and about translating that evidence into policy and change.
We use qualitative and quantitative research and analysis to assist Government and other organisations in solving sensitive and complex problems. These could be related to policy change or development, reform, culture change, or targeted issues such as leadership, workplace bullying and diversity and inclusion.
Why do you do what you do?
As a sociologist the WHY that motivates me, gets me out of bed and fuels my passion for work and life is contributing in a very real way towards building a better society through better thinking.
Rapid Context is also about walking the talk. Our culture is at the centre of everything we do, and is reflected in the building blocks of the firm. We have an unlimited paid leave policy, and staff meetings usually involve breast feeding at the boardroom table and cupcakes being squished in to the floor.
What sets you apart from others in your industry?
Rather than using traditional management consulting approaches to solve complex organisational culture issues we use Organisational Archaeology (methodical digging at multiple layers, the analysis of artefacts, and questioning assumptions around values, behaviours and interactions), Design Sociology (an iterative process of problem solving that includes identifying the practices and most importantly the needs of end users, generating and testing ideas and then implementing them) and Cultural Anthropology (examining social, historical and political contexts, not just “current state analysis”).
We do detailed high quality research, and we deliver it fast!
