On the Money: a panel event busting taboos about Women and Money
July 14 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
It’s widely publicised that, on average, women retire with almost half the superannuation of men. In addition, we hear stories regularly about women feeling ashamed about asking questions about finance, or feeling like it’s ‘taboo’ to talk money.
At the same time, research has shown women often know more than they think when it comes to money, but they can lack the confidence to back themselves.
As we enter a new financial year, we think it’s time to open this discussion up.
At our 14 July ‘On the Money’ panel discussion event, nothing is taboo. We’re opening a money chat to help enable and empower our community when it comes to finance.
Supported by our friends at Snedden Hall & Gallop Lawyers, we’re bringing some of our favourite women in finance together to answer your questions and deliver general advice that can support you to gain confidence and build wealth.
Our panel includes:
• Assistant Commissioner, Risk and Strategy – Employer Obligations, Superannuation and Employer Obligations, Australian Taxation Office, Michelle Allen
• Fitzpatricks Private Wealth Financial Planner Alisa Honeyman CFP®, B.Comm, DipFP
• Hayes & Co Insurance Pty Ltd, Financial Advisor, Katherine Hayes, and
• Snedden Hall & Gallop Lawyers Employment Lawyer, Emily Shoemark.
